DeepFlex Pipe Design

DeepFlex is a pipe design and manufacturing company established to bring to the market a new, cost effective flexible pipe system which has many advantages over other un-bonded pipe. We are very focused on this task which further differentiates us from existing suppliers. Our approach is to dissociate aspects of design we control internally from those the purchaser controls. In other words, we concentrate on achieving performance targets for what we will offer as “standard” pipes we know are suitable for a wide range of installations and duties. We choose not to mix global or operational tolerances such as depth, forces in catenaries, operating temperatures etc. with our product performance specifications, our manufacturing tolerances and the methods we use to design our product range.

The engineering we perform in-house is centered on product and equipment design to ensure our pipe assemblies meet our performance quality specifications and standards. Design services, such as riser analysis, flowline system design, etc. are contracted out to qualified, DeepFlex-approved third party entities.
