Composite Sample Fatigue TestDeepFlex currently tests composite samples for resistance to fatigue using in-house developed torsion and bending fatigue rigs that simulate millions of cycles of loading and unloading. During the loading and unloading cycles, the samples are immersed in a saltwater bath at elevated temperatures to encourage and promote any possible degradation..

Multi-Axis Pipe Fatigue TestAlso known as the Universal Pipe Tester, or UPT, the Multi-Axis Pipe Fatigue machine tests the dynamic fatigue properties of pipe sections and assemblies. This new test rig design is capable of subjecting pipe assemblies to multi-axis static and dynamic loading using a fully programmable robot to move one end of a cantilevered pipe sample. It is also designed to apply pre-programmed combinations of multi-plane bending, tensile, or compressive axial loads and torsion to the pipe under ambient, elevated, or varying temperatures and pressures.
